Palmdale Gateway Center

City: Palmdale, California

 

 

This project of approximately 12.5 acres opened in 1987 with Hughes Market and Payless Drug Store as the two primary anchor retailers. Gateway center contains close to 150,000 sq ft of gross leasable areas. Payless eventually leased their building to Staples, and the Hughes store was first converted into a Ralph's and then later into a Vallarta supermarket. Financed by Unum Insurance.
